Say goodbye to loading every time you play Max Payne 3. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install and setup offline mode for Max Payne 3. If you're looking for a mod that lets you play the entire game without having to worry about the dreaded "loading" screen popping up, then this is it. If not, then continue reading and we'll teach you how to install it on your own custom PC! As always, make sure that your system meets the requirements before attempting any of these tutorials. Installation : 1. Go to your Steam folder (default is C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam) 2. Rename the folder called "valve" to "valve_bak" (this is just for safety, just in case you want to revert back your game later on) 3. Download this offline installer and extract the files inside somewhere easy to find later on, like your desktop for example. 4. Once you see the .exe file inside of the extracted folder, run it and install it by clicking next until you reach this screen: (don't worry about where they put everything, we'll move everything around so don't worry about it. The installer will ask you for a destination, choose the default one that it asks) 5. After you have installed it, open up your Steam folder again and delete the "valve_bak" folder 6. Open up your "SteamApps" folder and find a folder called "common" and create a new one in there called "maxpayne3". 7. Download the file that we provided (it's located in the download section) and place it into that newly created "maxpayne3" folder you just created in step 6. 8. Run [OfflineInstaller_MaxPayne3_1-0-2-1. exe] and follow the instructions provided by it. 9. When done, you'll see this screen. Click install again to make sure that all files are properly installed onto your system. Once that's done, close the installer program. 10. Now that everything is installed, start up "Max Payne 3" while Steam is still running and it should proceed to download the data from the internet while you're playing it through Steam! It should just load up normally without you having to worry about "trying to connect". 11. Now that you have successfully setup offline mode for Max Payne 3 , enjoy the game whenever you want to play it!
